What comes next?
You've been asking yourself that for a while. Probably alone. Sequel is six people, six weeks, and a place to finally say it out loud.
Something has shifted and you can feel it.
Work isn't what it was. AI is coming for things that used to feel safe, the economy's a mess, and a lot of us stopped wanting to work like this anyway. Somewhere in the last few years you got a taste of what actually matters, and you don't want to give it back.
So the question is bigger than what job comes next. And you've probably been sitting with it for a while, without saying it to anyone.
Say it to people.
Sequel is six people on a call once a week for six weeks, all asking some version of the same question. You say the hard thing, the fear or the dream you've been too scared to say out loud, and instead of someone jumping in to fix it, five people just hear you. If that hasn't happened in a while, it's a strange kind of relief.
We build the room. You bring yourself.
We find the people and set the structure. The group is yours.
We can't promise where you'll be in six weeks. Nobody can, and anyone who says otherwise is selling you something. What we can say is that if you show up and do the work, you'll get something out of it.
And because these five people will know what you're going for better than most people in your life, they'll think of you. Someone sends a book, someone knows a person you should meet, someone says the obvious thing you couldn't see yourself. That's networking, just the kind that actually works.
All you need is an open mind, an open heart, and a willingness to do the work.
The details.
- Six people per group, matched by us.
- Mixed groups, or all one gender if you'd rather. You pick on the form.
- One 60-minute call a week on Zoom, for six weeks.
- We find a time that works for everyone, wherever in the world you are.
- A prompt before each call so you arrive with something to say.
- It's a peer group. You run your own calls, with a prompt each week and a few agreements to keep it on track.
- A WhatsApp group for your cohort between calls.
Six weeks, six questions.
- 01Where am I?
- 02What's holding me back?
- 03What's actually true?
- 04What else is possible?
- 05Who can help?
- 06What will I do?
How we treat each other.
Five agreements the group holds itself to.
- 01Confidentiality. What is said in the group stays in the group.
- 02Leave room for silence. Not every pause needs filling.
- 03Ask before advising. Curiosity before solutions.
- 04Make room. Notice how much space you're taking.
- 05Let it unfold. Trust the conversation to go where it needs to.
What it costs.
$200 CAD for the six weeks.
That's six calls, six prompts, a group chat, and five other people who know what you're trying to do. We've priced the founding cohorts low on purpose. We want the right people in the room, not the people with the biggest budget.
After six weeks, stay with your group or start fresh with a new one.
The founders.
Sequel comes from two people who've spent their careers helping teams figure out what to build and then getting it built.
We started it for ourselves. We needed a room like this and couldn't find one, so we made it, and it went deeper and faster than either of us expected. Now we want other people to have it.
We know what a good room looks like, and we know how rarely people get one.
